THE READERS VOICE

Prince of Peace CEO offers thanks to recent holiday supporters

I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to the friends and supporters of Prince of Peace Center for your thoughtful gifts and acts of service this past holiday season.

This last year, 2025 was a hard year for so many of our neighbors — hundreds faced evictions and utility terminations, thousands were not sure how they were going to feed their families and so many parents were not sure how they were going to be able to provide gifts on Christmas morning. Living in these different states of crisis causes so much pressure to already stressed households.

But because of your generosity, Prince of Peace Center was able to help keep families in their homes with the lights on, provide holidays meals with all the fixings to more than 600 households and distributed more than 1,500 toys to nearly 100 families. What an amazing accomplishment!

On behalf of the board of directors, staff and volunteers, we want to say thank you—to each one of you who gave of your time, talents and treasures to help us provide for our collective community in need. Your gifts have greatly impacted those needing a hand up in a very meaningful and positive way. Thank you for joining us in our mission to strengthen families, build our community and reduce poverty.

May God bless you for your very thoughtful and generous contributions!
